Press Space on any asset and the viewer opens over the grid. Nothing is unpacked: Tessera reads what it needs out of the archive as it is.
#What each kind shows
- Models turn in 3D, with the triangle and vertex counts, the meshes, the materials and textures, the size in units, and any animations it carries. Every format the asset comes in is listed, and you can switch between them.
- Images zoom, with pixel art kept sharp rather than smoothed.
- Textures show the same way, with their size and what map they look like.
- HDRIs become a sky you can look around.
- Sounds and music play, with a waveform and the length.
- Fonts type your own sample text, with sliders for every axis a variable font has.
- Documents, including license files and readmes, are shown as text.
#Beside the picture
- This file: its name, format, size, and the folder it sits in, archive included.
- Its license: what covers this very file, which may be the pack's license or a rule for the part of the pack it is in, with the credit line if one is asked for.
- Its pack: which pack, creator, source page and when it was added.
- What proves it: the license files and page snapshot kept with the pack.
#Moving around
- ← and → step through the results you are viewing, with a filmstrip along the bottom.
- F fits to the window, 1 shows it at actual size.
- I hides or shows the details.
- Space or Esc closes it.
From here you can star it, add it to a collection, link it into a game, open the file in your own tools, or show it in Finder or Explorer.
