Review is where a pack waits when Tessera cannot tell what it allows. It is the one screen that exists to stop a quiet mistake: an asset with no license reaching a game you ship.
A pack in Review is out of search, out of Browse, and out of reach of every game and collection. It is on your disk, whole and untouched, and nothing else about it changes.
#What it asks
Two things, and only two:
- A license. Choose from the list, or press one of the quick answers: CC0, CC BY 4.0, Royalty-free.
- A source. Paste the page you got it from, or say I made it. If you truly do not know, I don't know records that honestly: the pack stays in Review and nothing pretends otherwise.
Answer both and the pack moves into the library. You can also discard a pack from here, which throws the download away.
#Doing several at once
Pick several packs with the checkboxes, or Pick all, and answer once for the lot. This is the quick way through a folder of downloads from the same site.
#Why a pack ends up here
- Its download says nothing about a license.
- Its license file is there but says something Tessera does not recognize.
- It came from a site with no rule yet, so the terms cannot be assumed.
- You turned off Packs Tessera is sure about in Settings, which sends everything here.
#The badge
The rail shows how many packs are waiting. Home says the same thing, and so does Help, because a library with things in Review is a library with an open question in it.
